Computer specialist by profession, Luba took an early retirement in 2010, and bought her first digital camera to take on her canoe, camping and travel journeys. Since then, photography has become a passion, an obsession, and a means to express herself through her images. She enjoys all aspects of photography - nature, landscape, still life, and has fun creating altered-reality images that has won her many awards in club and inter-club competitions.
Luba is a member of Richmond Hill Camera Club and Toronto Digital Camera Club, where she served on the Board of Directors and is currently involved in different committees. She is an accredited judge with the Ontario Council of Camera Clubs.
